LAILIBELA is located in the north of Ethiopia, with a dry climate and in the plateau area. There is the world-famous St. George Rock Church here, so a large number of foreign tourists go there to worship and watch. The Lalibela area is not large. You can take EgyptAir from Addis, the capital of Ethiopia, to get there. The flight time is about 1 hour, and then go all the way from the airport along the winding mountain road to the top of the mountain. According to local friends, the restaurant on the top of the mountain is run by an old British lady. The food and service are quite good, but there is no night view on the top of the mountain here. After nightfall, you can only see the sky full of stars, without a trace of city lights.
